Let’s talk about the most hated word in success. Actually let’s talk about the most hated word in most lives.

A loss or something you give up, usually for the sake of a better cause. This is should be the ultimate lesson in life. If you want something, almost always without exception you will have to give something up. You will have to sacrifice.

You work 9 to 5, but you want to be a millionaire. Sacrifice your free time to put in the effort you need.

You drive a junker but you really want the latest Range Rover. You hustle to make extra money.

You want an all-inclusive vacation to Bali. You don’t buy the good stuff and save money.

You don’t want to do this and I don’t want to do this. We want our cake, eat it and go back for seconds. It is human nature to take the path of least resistance, but all this is to keep in a comfortable spot with no risk. Just sit back and ride the line, comfortable, no sacrifices, just a straight line.

Now show me a successful person, either financially or in life, that has reached high standards and not made a sacrifice to get where they are. There is always a tit-for-tat when it comes to life and living it to the standards that make it incredible.

While I am usually talking about money, this is true for all your aspects of life. The payoff is usually so much more worthy than what you are giving up.

Do you want an incredible marriage? Give up nights with the boys, Netflix, and chill with her.

Do you want to have a good relationship with your kids? Sacrifice work and be there when they need you.

Do you want to lose weight? Spend time in the gym instead of Taco Hell.

Have you noticed a common denominator? Time. It is your most precious commodity and what you will sacrifice most. t\The worst part of sacrificing time for a greater good or thing is if you waste it.

“Time is what we want most, but what we use worst.”
― William Penn

Love sacrifice, it will get you where you want to you with money and life.
